Job summary

Spero Health is seeking a licensed Counselor or Social Worker to join our integrated care team in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports patients through counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment, focusing on whole-person care and recovery goals.

Responsibilities include assessments, providing evidence-based counseling, patient education, and collaborating to maintain treatment accountability while complying with HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of full-time human-services experience or a Master’s degree is required.
• Licenses include LISAC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LMSW, LASAC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling through evidenced-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward recovery.
• Act as a clinic resource and ensure HIPAA/CFR42 Part 2 compliance.
