Job summary

Spero Health in Phoenix, AZ seeks a licensed Counselor or Social Worker to join an integrated team delivering counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment, aligned with our mission of Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships.

You will assess and care for patients, provide evidence-based counseling, educate patients, and help maintain HIPAA-compliant processes while fostering recovery in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 1 year full-time employment or internship in a human-services setting or Master’s degree in behavioral science.
• Licenses: LISAC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LMSW, LASAC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.
