Madison Reed Hair Color Bar seeks a Hair Color Bar Assistant who will support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to deliver a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. You love beauty and color and enjoy helping guests choose the best options while learning the profession.

You will learn consultations, shampooing, conditioning, and blowouts, while keeping the bar clean and organized. This role provides training toward promotion to Licensed Colorist and offers a pay mix that includes

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where you are applying.
• Entry level customer service or retail experience; beauty/salon industry preferred.
• Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling and other chair-side tasks.
• Help achieve monthly sales goals, including retail, services and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security at the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed policies and procedures.
• Drive revenue by increasing average service tickets and selling memberships or subscriptions.
• Participate in Colorist training toward promotion to Licensed Colorist.
