Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a Hair Color Bar Assistant for our New York location. You will support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure while learning the services and working toward promotion to Licensed Colorist.

Responsibilities include consultations, color care products, shampooing, conditioning, and assisting with blowouts and toners. Compensation ranges from $28.50-$29.50 per hour, dependent on performance and tenure.

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Perform behind-the-chair tasks including shampooing, conditioning, styling and toner services as needed.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals, retail and service KPIs.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security at the Hair Color Bar.
• Learn color theory and behind-the-chair application skills for promotion to Licensed Colorist.
