Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a Licensed Colorist to deliver expert color services, guest consultations, and exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help guests choose the best color and products, perform color services and styling, and contribute to a welcoming, organized salon floor.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair within a salon environment.
• Effective communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon setting.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Provide consultations and all services offered on the menu, including shampooing, styling and chemical services to 100% guest satisfaction.
• Be attentive to guest needs to help select the best products and color while staying on time for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other KPIs including retail, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security standards.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive revenue through increased service tickets and sales of memberships and products.
• Grow within Madison Reed by participating in ongoing training and staying up to date on products and offerings.
• Support training and development of Assistant Colorists through demonstration and coaching.
