Job summary

Madison Reed seeks a Licensed Colorist to deliver quality services and exceptional guest care at the Madison Reed Hair Color Bar. You’ll help guests find the best color, perform services with precision, and support a friendly, fast-paced team environment.

The role offers base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with potential earnings ranging from $37.50 - $39.50 per hour. Availability at peak times is required to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair within a salon environment.
• Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork to deliver a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Provide consultations and all services on the menu to 100% guest satisfaction.
• Be attentive to guest needs, helping select products and color, stay on time for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals (retail, services, memberships).
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive revenue through increasing average service ticket and memberships.
• Grow within Madison Reed via ongoing training and product knowledge.
• Support training and development of Assistant Colorists through coaching.
