Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar seeks a Licensed Colorist to deliver high-quality color services and exceptional guest care. You will consult with guests, perform color and styling services, and promote products and memberships to enhance the guest experience.

The position reports to the Manager and may be full or part-time to meet business needs, with compensation including base hourly pay, commissions, and tips. Pay range at this location is $43-$45 per hour, depending on performance and tenure.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and people skills in a fast-paced retail/salon setting.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork skills to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Provide consultations and all services offered on the menu, including shampooing, styling and chemical services to high quality standards and guest satisfaction.
• Be attentive to guest needs to help select products and color while staying flexible to bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other KPIs including retail, services, memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing ticket value and upselling memberships, subscriptions, and home care products.
• Grow within Madison Reed through ongoing training and staying updated on MR products.
