Madison Reed is seeking a Licensed Colorist for our Hair Color Bar location in the United States. The role involves providing color services, consultations, and guest care in a fast-paced environment, with focus on service quality and upselling memberships and products.

Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with potential earnings listed from $45–$47 per hour. Availability at peak times is required; role can be full or part time depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the applying state.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist in a salon.
• Strong communication and problem solving in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultations and all services on the menu to high-quality standards.
• Provide guest-focused color services, shampooing, styling, and chemical services.
• Assist guests in product color selections and maintain timely bookings.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset protection in the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed policies and procedures.
• Support revenue growth through upselling memberships and products.
• Pursue ongoing training on MR products and services to stay current.
• Assist in training Assistant Colorists as needed.
