Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar seeks a Licensed Colorist to deliver high-quality color services and exceptional guest care. You’ll consult guests, perform color and related services, and promote products and memberships in a fast-paced salon environment.

Expect base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with potential earnings ranging from $35.50 to $37.50 per hour. Compensation depends on performance, tenure, and time behind the chair.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying in.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• Effective communication and strong problem solving in a fast-paced retail or salon setting.
• Comfortable operating point of sale (POS) systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide guest experiences aligned with company values.
• Provide consultations and all services on the menu including color and chemical services to high standards and guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests in product and color selection while staying timely for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security standards.
• Follow Madison Reed systems, policies, and procedures.
