Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a Licensed Colorist for our Hair Color Bar in Boca Raton. You will deliver quality color services, consultations, and guest care, helping guests find their best shade and executing services with precision.

This role offers base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with earnings ranging from $38 to $40 per hour at this location. Availability at peak times is required to meet guest needs and contribute to a busy, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• Effective communication and guest-focused service in a fast-paced retail/salon.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork skills to provide a guest experience aligned with our values of Love, Joy, Trust, Courage and Responsibility.
• Provide consultations and all services offered on the menu, including shampooing and conditioning, styling such as blow drying, flat ironing and curling, etc., and all chemical services to the highest quality standards and 100% guest satisfaction.
• Be attentive to guest needs to help select the best products and color for them, while staying flexible to business needs and on time for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators, including but not limited to: retail sales, services, memberships.
• Ensures Hair Color Bar meets company standards as it relates to cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, company asset security.
• Adheres to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing the average service ticket through additional services, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, home hair care and more.
• Grow within Madison Reed by participating in ongoing training and staying up to date on MR products and service offerings.
• Support the training and development of Assistant Colorists through demonstration, coaching and care.
