Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the guidance of Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator. You will help ensure the highest quality resident care at all times.

Qualified candidates hold a CNA license, have at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure, and can read, write, and speak English. You must be in good health with emotional stability and enjoy serving ill and elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Must be in good health with emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing care as directed.
• Make resident rounds at start of shift and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed areas.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within reach.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
