Job summary

Family Counseling Associates of Massachusetts, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Beverly, MA team. You’ll treat a range of mental health needs and work within Optum Behavioral Care to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Requirements include a Master’s in psychology, social work, or related field and an active LICSW/LMHC/LMFT license in Massachusetts. You’ll provide psychotherapy, document in EMR, and help grow our patient care capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Clear, active and unrestricted license LICSW, LMHC, LMFT in Massachusetts.
• 2+ years post-master's experience providing behavioral health services.
• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Experience with Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (EHRs).

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain EMR and documentation compliant with regulations.
• Contribute to patient growth strategy by providing profiles for online directories and marketing.
