Job summary

Optum is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist in Beverly, MA, to join our Behavioral Care team. You will assess and treat a variety of mental health conditions, applying evidence-based therapies and maintaining compliant medical records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Clear, active and unrestricted MA license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT).
• Licensed in Massachusetts.
• 2+ years of professional behavioral health experience (preferred).
• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy to individuals and families.
• Experience using Excel, Outlook and Athena RMS (or other EHRs).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT and other evidence-based approaches.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects or complications.
• Maintain EMR and clinical documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Contribute to patient growth strategy by profiling for online directories and marketing efforts.
