Job summary
Family Counseling Associates of Massachusetts, part of the Optum family of businesses, seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Beverly, Massachusetts, team. You will treat a diverse patient population with evidence-based therapies and contribute to a patient growth strategy.
The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field and an active MA license (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT).
Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
- Clear, active and unrestricted license LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, in the state of Massachusetts.
- 2+ years of professional experience post master's degree providing behavioral health services.
- Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
Responsibilities
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Provide treatment for mental health conditions using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches.
- Systematically track treatment response and monitor symptoms and treatment effects.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Support patient growth by contributing to online directories and marketing efforts.
