Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee ICMS HFH staff under the Director of Housing Services. The role requires a California LCSW license and LPS designation, with a focus on clinical oversight, case conferences, and service-plan development.

Qualifications

• A valid, active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the State of California.
• At least one year of experience providing services to individuals with mental illness.
• Must obtain LPS designation and participate in LPS crisis rotation.
• Willingness to participate in onsite Clinical Peer Support Groups.
• Ability to maintain a limited caseload to meet program/agency needs.
• Experience with target population and ability to link to community resources.
• Good English writing, basic computer skills, highly organized, strong communication.
• Flexible, able to multi-task and meet productivity goals.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle; insurance acceptable by agency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in regular case conference meetings with program leadership and external partners.
• Ensure regular, documented case conference meetings with QA staff.
• Oversee development of individualized service plans with ICMS staff and program teams.
• Regularly review assessments and service plans with staff and managers.
• Review charts for clinical appropriateness of services for participants.
• Participate in team meetings to provide supervision and training for clinical needs.
• Meet with ICMS staff for case consultations and document discussions.
• Provide clinical oversight of case management and staff interactions.
• Participate in On Call rotation to support ICMS HFH staff during emergencies.
• Provide license-dependent clinical services and linkages to mental health services.
• Support outreach and engagement efforts with ICMS staff.
• Contribute to staff development with ongoing mental health training.
• Maintain records and documentation for program compliance and funding.
• Review incident reports and follow up on clinical needs.
