Job summary

Community Care of West Virginia seeks a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker to provide psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care for individuals and families with mental health and substance use needs.

The LICSW will conduct diagnostic assessments per DSM guidelines, offer education and self-management support, supervise a care team, and ensure documentation and billing meet standards. Travel and flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Current State Social Work licensure.
• Experience with psychosocial assessment and treatment planning.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial diagnostic assessment and DSM-based treatment recommendations.
• Engage patients and families in care planning and education.
• Coordinate resources and link patients to community services.
• Supervise LGSWs/LCSWs and document progress and billing.
• Deliver office-based mental health and substance use interventions.
