Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional to provide care to employee and dependent patients at our Health Center in Tyrone, GA. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with lunch from 1–2pm, offering both virtual and in-person appointments.

You will utilize strengths-based approaches and evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS, collaborating with the clinical team to meet treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field.
• Licensed as a mental health clinician per state requirements as examples include LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LPCC, LCPC.
• LMSW is not accepted across states.
• Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• 4+ years of experience in the field or related area.
• Experience in behavioral health treatment including depression, mood disorders, substance use, family counseling, etc.
• Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
• Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal development.
• Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
• Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice (CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, CAMS).
• Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify behavior.
• Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
• Participate in clinical care team activities: consultation, case management, care coordination, referrals.
• Enter data into patient charts to maintain accurate records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.


• Licensed as a mental health clinicians as per state requirements: examples include Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).


• LMSW is not accepted across states.


• For NY ONLY, LCSW, LMHC-D and LMFT-D are accepted.


• Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.


• 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.


• Must have prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc..


• Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.


• Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors.


• Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.


• Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred.
