Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Psychologist in Boulder, CO. The role is hybrid, onsite 3 days and remote 1 day, with a 32-hour workweek schedule.

You will provide psychotherapy to individuals, groups, and families, using evidence-based methods and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support client well-being.

Qualifications

  • Masters in psychology is required; license to practice clinical psychology.
  • CAMS certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • 2-4 years of experience in mental health treatment.
  • Experience with depression, mood disorders, addiction, family and relationship therapy.
  • Experience in integrated behavioral health settings preferred.
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
  • Utilize a strengths-based approach to help clients get, stay, and be well.
  • Interact with clients to help define goals and plan actions for improvement.
  • Conduct psychological assessments as needed.
  • Engage clients in collaborative discussion of treatment goals and outcomes.
  • Coordinate referrals and care as part of the clinical care team.

As a Full Time Psychologist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Boulder, CO.We're offering a 4-day work schedule of 8:00am-5:00pm (32 hours/week) . This hybrid role will work onsite 3 days (Monday, Thursday, Friday) and 1 day remote (option of Tuesday or Wednesday). Unique opportunity to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize a strengths-based approach to assist clients to get, be, and stay well, in alignment with their values
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families, if applicable
  • Interact with clients to assist in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment
  • Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, screeners, records, and reference materials
  • Conduct psychological assessments as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based intervention methods within scope of practice to meet needs of population. Common approaches at Premise sites might include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS
  • Counsel individuals regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, to modify behavior or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment
  • Engage clients in collaborative discussion of treatment goals and desired outcomes
  • Participate as an active team member in the clinical care team. Duties may include consultation, case management, care coordination, and coordination of referrals
  • May require other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • Masters required, PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology strongly preferred and may be required depending on state or scope of practice
  • Requires an advanced degree and a license to practice clinical psychology
  • Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
  • 2-4 years of experience required
  • Must have prior experience in the field of treatment of mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, in adults and children
  • Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting
  • Experience identifying, preventing, and treating suicidal behaviors
  • Must have experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $104,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.

For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0769 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
