Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Clinic Manager for our San Antonio practice to lead daily clinic operations and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will oversee staff, implement policies, manage budgets, and support billing and purchasing decisions. Requirements include two years in medical office settings, one year supervisory experience, CPR, and an active MA certification or LPN/LVN license.

Qualifications

  • Two years minimum experience in medical office, acute care or outpatient setting.
  • One year supervisory experience in medical office, acute care or outpatient setting.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Current and Active Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA) or active LPN or LVN license.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement goals, policies, and procedures for the clinical areas.

Seeking a Licensed Clinic Manager for our practice who provides leadership expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:
  • You will direct the day-to-day functions of the clinic staff and its programs and activities to ensure compliance, efficiency, and patient satisfaction
  • You will establish/implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for the assigned clinical areas
  • You will manage staff performance and evaluations including supervising, coaching, and disciplinary action for front office and clinical staff
  • You will monitor and control clinical expenditures to remain within budget
  • Helps fiscal management and other administrative staff to develop/implement cost effective policies and procedures for all clinical areas, as well as billing, insurance, fee schedules, credit/collections, purchasing, and space planning
What Qualifications you will need:
Education:

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a degree or diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocation nursing is required.

Experience:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office, acute care or clinical outpatient setting is required.
  • A minimum of one-year previous supervisory experience in a medical office, acute care or outpatient setting is required.
  • Certification/License: CPR Certification required.
  • Current and Active Medical Assistant certification (Acceptable certifications are RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA certification or ABR-OE credentials) or active LPN or LVN license is required.
