Job summary

Level Engineering & Architecture is seeking a Licensed Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the Austin Metro area on a hybrid 1099 contract basis. The role offers a base salary with upside commissions and a full workload in a flexible environment.

Responsibilities include handling civil design for land development and municipal projects, coordinating with partners, and managing client relationships while ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer license or active licensure track.
• Experience with civil design for land development or municipal projects.
• Strong communication and coordination with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute civil engineering design and analysis for land development, roadways, bridges, trails, drainage, and water/wastewater systems.
• Prepare design documents, technical reports, and calculations.
• Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical consultants, and internal teams.
• Project manage individual projects and client relationships independently.
• Communicate professionally with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Support quality control and project delivery schedules.
• Develop and maintain a personal referral-based project pipeline.
