Responsibilities

  • Ensures efficient operation of the residential treatment center.
  • Implements policies and procedures approved by the Board.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Makes recommendations to the Executive Director on hiring and firing of staff.
  • Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff under supervision.
  • Ensures sufficient staff on all shifts and for all activities.
  • Makes budgetary recommendations to the Executive Director.
  • Monitors expenditures according to the approved budget.
  • Maintains communication with DFPS contract monitors, caseworkers, licensing staff, and Youth for Tomorrow staff.
  • Maintains positive relationships with the school district and teachers.
  • Ensures that the facility and grounds are safe and sanitary; arranges repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintains relationships with local agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensures vehicles are in safe running condition; arranges repairs as needed.
  • Reports to Executive Director.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Childcare Administrator (LCCA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for children and possess a strong understanding of developmental needs. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment for children while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families to implement care plans that cater to each child's unique needs.

Minimum Qualifications

A current license from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as a childcare Administrator and two years of experience Working with children with emotional disturbances

Responsibilities
  • Ensures efficient operation of the residential treatment center
  • Implements policies and procedures approved by the Board
  • Ensures that the residential treatment center complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Makes recommendations to the Executive Director on the hiring and firing of all staff
  • Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff under his supervision
  • Ensures that there are sufficient staff on all shifts and for all activities
  • Makes budgetary recommendation to the Executive Director
  • Monitors expenditures according to approved budget

Hours

Must work a minimum of 30 hours per week

Must be available for emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
