Job summary

Road To Wisdom Llc seeks a Licensed Child Care Administrator to oversee GRO staff and ensure compliance with Texas standards, CARF, and DFPS service packages. The role includes hiring, training, crisis management, and on-call support, along with direct resident supervision and transportation as needed.

You will apply trauma-informed care and the Trust Based Relational Intervention model in all interactions, with readiness for emergency behavior intervention as required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Child Care Administrator for General Residential Operations (Texas).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Pass a urine drug screen.
• Eligible on HHSC background check (may require fingerprinting).
• TB test result required.
• Two rounds of interviews and a skills assessment.
• Education verification showing at least a Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and supervision to GRO staff and ensure compliance with standards and contracts.
• Participate in hiring decisions, train staff, and document expectations.
• Be available for crisis management, on-call support, in-person and by phone.
• Provide direct resident supervision and transportation as needed.

Provide oversight and supervision to General Residential Operation (GRO) staff to ensure that all Residential Child Care Regulation Minimum Standards, various contract requirements, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), DFPS Texas Child Centered Care service packages, etc. Responsible for ensuring that reporting, documentation, and staff duties are completed within all related compliance and related standards/requirement. This position will participate in hiring decisions, training staff and ensuring that expectations are clearly communicated and documented. As well as, be available for crisis management, on-call support (in-person and telephonic), and provide direct resident supervision and transportation as needed. Ensure that trauma informed care and our Trust Based Relational Interaction program model is utilized in all resident interaction. Demonstrate mastery of emergency behavior intervention and crisis management strategies are used as needed and are utilized within proper protocols and policies.

GRO Population Characteristics:

• 13 Bed Operation

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed Child Care Administrator for General Residential Operations in the state of Texas
• Valid Driver's License

• Be determined as "Eligible" as a result of a Health and Human Services background check (which may require fingerprinting)
• Provide TB test result
• Complete at two rounds of interviews
• Complete a skills assessment
