Job summary

Flagstar Bank in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a Branch Banking - Client Consultant III - Licensed to build lasting client relationships, resolve inquiries, and guide customers through banking and lending conversations. You will contribute to sales goals, coordinate with Mortgage and Business Banking partners, and provide tailored financial guidance to meet clients’ needs.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years of customer service and sales experience in financial services, plus NMLS and FINRA

Qualifications

Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
Minimum 4–5 years customer service and sales experience in financial services.
Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration and REG Z compliance.
Ability to train and mentor others, including products and platform procedures.
Licenses: Life and Health Insurance (within 90 days), FINRA SIE (within 90 days), FINRA Series 6 (within 90 days), FINRA Series 63 or 66 (within 90 days).

Responsibilities

Sales Performance: support team in growth targets and client introductions to drive sales.
Client Experience: resolve questions and complaints promptly to deliver education and engagement.
Risk Management: perform transactions accurately and compliantly with minimal losses.
Additional accountabilities: handle moderately complex projects and duties as required.
Regulatory compliance: adhere to laws and complete trainings.
