Qualifications

• Licensed clinician (LPC/LSW/LCSW/LCPC) or Psychologist within 2 years per IDFPR.
• Master's degree in Psychology or related field; master's required within two years if pursuing a license.
• Fluent English; basic computer skills; customer/patient focused.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation, counseling and therapeutic services to chemically dependent patients/families.
• Makes treatment recommendations and liaises with the treatment network for the patient.
• Facilitates programming for court-ordered referrals.
• Assists patient and family with adjustment to illness and planning for post-treatment care.
• Documents per department guidelines and develops required reports.
• Pursues professional development and shares knowledge through networking and research.
• Participates in community education as assigned.
• Engages in professional organizations and committees as appropriate.
• Assesses teaching strategies and therapy modalities for patients and families.
