Job description

Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC is seeking BCBAs and Licensed Behavior Specialists to provide services in Northumberland County.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), VB MAPP, AFLS and ABLLS‑R assessments.
• Develop treatment plans based on the findings of the FBA using evidence‑based practices.
• Provide clinical supervision of BHT or RBT workers performing the following duties.
• Direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home, school, and community environments.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data during each session with the client.
• Reduce challenging behaviors—aggression, property destruction, tantrums, etc.
• Analyze data to adapt and adjust programming.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, or community officials.
• Model appropriate behaviors.
• Provide clinical support to direct care staff.
• Implement consequences relating to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
• Coordinate communication with other supporting agencies.
• Exchange information clearly and concisely with the appropriate parties and concerns.
• Complete and submit all paperwork, including documentation of session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans and assessments, in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills

• BACB certification in good standing.
• Behavior Specialist license required.
• Master’s degree (MS or MA) in a mental health field and at least one year of documented paid experience working with children, adolescents, or youth.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
• 1 year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

Additional Requirements

• Must have one of the following licenses: BSL, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist.
• Staff must possess appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34, and FBI clearances).
• Must be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs.
• Must complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) verification and hold an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
