Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), VB MAPP, AFLS, and ABLLS-R assessments.
  • Develop treatment plans based on FBA findings using evidence‑based practices.
  • Provide clinical supervision to BHT or RBT workers, including 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as directed.
  • Collect and analyze data during each session to adapt and adjust programming.
  • Assist with reduction of challenging behaviors such as aggression, property destruction, and tantrums.
  • Support parents, teachers, or community officials and serve as a role model for appropriate behaviors.
  • Provide clinical support to direct care staff and implement consequences related to behavior.
  • Coordinate communication with other supporting agencies and exchange information with relevant parties.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, including session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans, and assessments promptly.
Qualifications
  • BCBA certification in good standing and behavior specialist license required.
  • Master's degree (MS or MA) in a mental‑health field with at least one year of documented paid experience working with children, adolescents, or youth; or Master's in Social Work with LSW in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • One year of paid experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
  • Background checks, transcripts, and clearance to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34, FBI) and completion of NSOR verification and active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
