Job description

Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals aged 2–21, implementing treatment plans in homes, schools, daycares, and community settings under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant‑Behavior Consultant (A‑BC). Deliver interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning. Participate in ongoing training and supervision. Conduct necessary paperwork, submit weekly reports, and ensure compliance with IBHS regulations and MCO guidelines.

Schedule

Full‑time and part‑time hours are available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Compensation ranges from $20–$25 per hour.

Qualifications
  • Complete required ABA and case related training as assigned.
  • Provide one‑on‑one ABA interventions for children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings.
  • Follow individualized ABA treatment plans to provide appropriate therapeutic services.
  • Transfer skills to school personnel and family members.
  • Attend weekly supervision.
  • Record data and chart progress daily.
  • Bachelor‑level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no previous work experience; OR bachelor level degree in any other field with at least 1 year of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents; OR associate level degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor‑level degree with 3 years of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents; OR licensed practical nurse with at least 3 years of full‑time paid work experience involving direct contact with children or adolescents.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with completion of a 40‑hour training covering the RBT Task List and a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BC‑ABA.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Background checks, transcripts, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34, and FBI clearances); participation in Medicaid and Medicare programs; NSOR verification; and active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
