Job summary

Sephora USA, Inc in New York's Harlem (1988) is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor. You’ll guide clients on their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond, teaching, inspiring, and connecting with customers.

You’ll perform makeup, waxing and other services, stay current on beauty trends, maintain licensure and hygiene, and help create an inclusive, welcoming shopping experience. This is a part-time, hourly position with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where performed.
• 1–3 years in a similar role or in retail/hospitality/service.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu; stay informed on trends and product knowledge.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards with health and safety protocols.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork; promote a culture of openness.
• Uphold Sephora standards and ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all.
