Job summary

Sephora in Boston is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You will perform makeup and other beauty services, promote products, and maintain licensure while upholding hygiene standards.

The role requires an active license, 1–3 years in a similar role, and a strong knowledge of beauty trends. Part-time scheduling, evenings and holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where performed
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environment
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products
• Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora's Beauty Services menu
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards
