Job summary

Sephora in New York is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to impact clients daily as a beauty expert. You’ll guide clients on their journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond, teaching, inspiring, and engaging with customers to ensure a memorable experience.

Responsibilities include performing makeup and waxing services, staying current on beauty trends, and promoting products. The role requires an active NY license, 1–3 years of experience, and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform beauty services including makeup, waxing, and other services on Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork to promote a culture of openness.
• Uphold Sephora standards and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
