Job summary

Sephora USA, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You will educate clients with makeup, waxing, and related services, aiming to inspire confidence and deliver personalized care.

Qualifications

Active license to perform waxing, makeup, and lash/false application services in the state where services are performed.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environment.
Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Drive results by providing and booking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
Perform beauty services including makeup, waxing, and other services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
Maintain licensure and uphold health and safety protocols.
Foster inclusiveness and teamwork to promote a culture of openness.
Uphold Sephora standards and ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
