Job summary

Sephora in Charleston, SC is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients on their beauty journeys at the Beauty Studio. You’ll provide makeup, waxing, and other services, educate clients on trends, and help create memorable experiences.

Licensure must be active, you’ll join a diverse team, and be part of a culture that values inclusivity, training, and exceptional service. The role requires weekend availability and a readiness to uphold Sephora standards.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed.
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by helping achieve store goals through services, rebooking, client servicing, and product sales.
• Perform beauty services including makeup, waxing, and other listed services; stay informed on trends.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards; health and safety protocols.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork; promote a culture of openness.
• Uphold Sephora standards and ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping experience for all.
