Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Licensed Assistant Manager in Franklin, TN to lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager. You will drive KPI performance, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional patient care while maintaining visual standards and policy compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a state Opticianry license, have 1+ year of supervisory experience, and demonstrate strong English communication and selling skills in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid State Opticianry license.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.
• Proven selling skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to meet or exceed KPIs (sales, conversions, traffic, etc.).
• Demonstrates retail knowledge to drive store and business results.
• Supports Store Manager in diagnosing business and coordinating team performance.
• Assists recruiting and building a talent pipeline; helps staff the store.
• Provides training and guidance to team members and delivers constructive feedback.
