Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks an entry‑level Architecture Designer to support project teams under a Registered Architect. You will contribute to small to moderate projects, applying standard architectural principles and building knowledge in a collaborative environment.

The role focuses on developing technical skills and design judgment while growing with the team, traveling to project sites as needed and pursuing licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an NAAB-accredited Architecture program.
• 0-5 years of experience in architectural practice.
• Experience with CAD and graphic software such as Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe CC, AutoCAD, SketchUp.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel.
• Actively pursuing Professional Architect License.
• Familiar with BIM and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize architectural design, modeling, and graphic software to develop drawings, models, and visualizations under the guidance of senior staff.
• Assist project teams in applying BIM platforms to develop coordinated design and documentation deliverables.
• Prepare architectural drawings, details, and construction documentation with increasing accuracy and independence.
• Assist in preparing architectural specifications and coordinating them with construction documents.
• Support in researching building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability requirements for compliance.
• Develop client presentation materials and participate in meetings, with follow-up tasks.
