Job summary
AECOM seeks a Licensed Architect for the NY Metro Building + Places team to work on Federal projects. You will prepare program analyses, life-safety studies, design development, and construction drawings, coordinating with engineers and consultants while mentoring junior staff.
The role requires an Architecture degree, RA license, US citizenship, and substantial experience with Revit and CAD tools. Hybrid schedule in the NY area is offered along with exposure to diverse infrastructure programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture required or equivalent
- Demonstrated USACE and/or Federal DOD project experience
- Professional License as an Architect (RA) required
- United States Citizenship required
- Eight years of strong technical skills in architecture delivery preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare program analysis, life safety code analysis, concept designs and drawings
- Coordinate activities with multidisciplinary team members
- Mentor junior architects and designers
- Develop architectural methods and techniques
- Provide support for USACE projects and client communications
- Lead architectural work with engineers and consultants
- Review construction documents for compliance with requirements
