Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Licensed Architect in Chicago to join a top-rated AEC firm. The ideal candidate will lead portions of small to mid-sized projects, providing design development, technical documentation, and construction administration expertise, while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and clients.

Applicants should have 5–10 years of architectural experience, current licensure, and proficiency in Revit, BIM workflows, and related software.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect with current registration.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 5-10 years of professional architectural experience, preferably within an architecture, engineering, or integrated AEC environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with design development, technical documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, and construction administration.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building materials, systems, specifications, codes, detailing, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency with Revit and architectural documentation workflows.
  • Experience with software such as Enscape, Bluebeam, Procore, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Experience with BIM coordination and model-based project delivery is a plus.
  • Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, constructability, budget, schedule, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead portions of small to mid-sized projects, providing architectural expertise across design development, documentation, coordination, and construction administration.

  • Ability and willingness to provide mentorship and guidance to emerging professionals and design staff.
