Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Architectural professional to lead design and documentation efforts and coordinate with consultants and engineers in Saint Charles, IL. The role involves travel to job sites for construction administration and close collaboration with local municipalities to understand project needs.

The successful candidate will work with in-house trades, manage project documentation, and ensure compliance with building materials and ADA standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect in IL preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Experience leading projects through construction administration.
• Familiarity with a variety of building materials.
• Familiarity with ADA/accessibility standards.
• Municipal, industrial, or commercial project experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the design and documentation efforts, along with overall project coordination and communication with consultants and engineers




• Will travel to job sites as needed for construction administration purposes




• Will work with clients (usually local municipalities) to understand the needs of the project




• Will collaborate with trades in-house

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture




• Licensed Architect in IL is highly preferred




• Revit or AutoCAD proficiency




• Experience leading projects (not necessarily project teams) through construction administration




• Familiarity with a variety of building materials




• Familiarity with ADA/accessibility standards




• Municipal, industrial, or commercial project experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
