Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment in Duluth, MN seeks a licensed counselor to deliver substance use disorder services under indirect supervision. The role supports a paraprofessional treatment environment and requires collaboration with a clinical team.

Hours are TBD, with a broad benefits package and ongoing professional development. The position emphasizes compliance with licensing requirements, documentation, and active participation in a dynamic treatment team.

Formación

• Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or ADC-T or exempt under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 148F.
• Competence in screening for mental health problems via a 12-hour education program and experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification or obtain before direct patient contact.
• Must pass background studies by Minnesota DHS.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substance use disorder counseling services as defined by the 12 Core Functions.
• Follow CADT policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and community agencies.
• Diagnose substance use disorders.
• Meet with families to identify service needs and referrals.
• Participate in team meetings and supervision.
• Maintain records per CADT policy and licensing regulations.
