Job summary

RealPage, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent in Richardson, TX to handle inbound customer inquiries for RealPage Insurance products in a hybrid setup located in Richardson. The role focuses on accurate policy servicing, payments, and endorsements with a customer-friendly approach.

The position requires an active Property & Casualty license and call-center experience. You will document interactions in the CRM and work under a fast-paced environment with a base hourly pay and eligibility

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required before start date.
• Call-center or customer-service experience preferred.
• Experience in insurance environment valued; GEICO experience a plus.

Overview

The Licensed Insurance Agent provides inbound customer support for RealPage Insurance products. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers with insurance-related questions and service needs.

The agent assists with policy servicing, payments, billing questions, website navigation, coverage inquiries, claims-related questions, policy rewrites, and endorsements. This is a fast-paced, call-center-style environment focused on accurate, efficient, and customer-friendly service.

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.00–$24.00, with eligibility for a monthly incentive plan. This position is located in Richardson, Tx in a Hybrid Environment two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and assist customers with insurance policy questions and service requests.
• Process policyholder transactions accurately and promptly.
• Assist with payments, billing questions, policy changes, endorsements, and coverage inquiries.
• Rewrite existing policies when needed.
• Document customer interactions and completed tasks in the CRM.
• Explain insurance information clearly while following applicable regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Evaluate payment plans and alternative payment arrangements when appropriate.
• Use internal systems, online reference materials, and call-center technology to resolve customer needs.
• Meet department service-level and quality expectations.
• Earn incentives for eligible policies enrolled, in accordance with the applicable incentive plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Full-time remote position.
• Regular schedule includes working one Saturday approximately twice per month.
• Overtime may be approved during peak periods, particularly around the beginning and end of each month and during the month of May.
• Additional overtime opportunities may be available during seasonal business needs and company-sponsored summer overtime contests.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required before the start date.
• Candidates whose Property & Casualty license expired within the previous month may be considered if they are eligible and willing to retest.
• Insurance, insurance sales, policy servicing, or customer success experience preferred.
• Experience supporting customers in an insurance environment is highly valued; experience with companies such as GEICO is a plus.
• At least two years of call-center or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and accurately.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn multiple systems.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute while accurately entering information.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
