Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Counselor in Ohio to play a crucial role in the recovery journey of our patients. The role supports compassionate care through evidence-based treatments and requires licensure and experience to advance through Counselor I–III tiers.

Qualifications

• OH CDCA or higher license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of counseling experience in addiction treatment.
• Counselor I-III prerequisites and supervision requirements are specified by the program.
• Eligible licenses and certifications may include OH licensure such as LCDC, LPC, LMFT, LISW, LICDC, or IMFT.

Responsabilités

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation.
• Provide orientation to patients on program objectives, phase requirements, rules, sanctions, hours, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases per Federal and State standards.
• Update clinical documentation and patient charts in accordance with policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis and refer to community resources as needed.
• Arrange referrals to other agencies and resources when appropriate.
• Attend case conferences, supervise training, and participate in team meetings.
