Job summary

Symetria Recovery in Texas is seeking a licensed clinical professional to join our outpatient team. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual and group counseling to support recovery.

You will document progress, coordinate referrals to medical and community services, and advocate for patients while applying MAT/OTP protocols. The role offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified as a relevant clinician in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of MAT/OTP regulations and treatment protocols.
• 1–3 years of counseling experience in substance use.
• Proficient in group facilitation, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' history and needs.
• Develop individualized, developmentally appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and progress.
• Deliver individual counseling sessions and guide recovery progress.
• Lead group counseling sessions to foster discussion and peer support.
• Equip patients with coping skills for long-term recovery.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans with aftercare strategies.
• Coordinate referrals to medical, psychiatric, and community services.
• Deliver case management to address biopsychosocial needs.
• Advocate for patients to access necessary services and supports.
• Schedule and track additional treatment or supportive services.
