Job summary

Symetria Recovery in Texas is seeking a part-time Program Physician to oversee the medical operations of the outpatient MAT/OTP clinic. You will ensure policies align with best practices, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate care across the program and referral sources.

The role requires a Texas medical license, a DEA license, and experience leading addiction treatment programs. Work schedule is 2-3 days per week from 8:00am to 12:00pm with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
• DEA and controlled substance license required.
• Experience directing business operations and medical programs of addiction treatment practices preferred.
• Schedule 2-3 days per week, 8:00am-12:00pm (flexible).

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical operations of the program, including clinical and business aspects.
• Establish and enforce policies aligned with best practices and QA activities.
• Oversee all medical services and vendor relationships within MAT/OTP.
• Coordinate care across the program and referrals, supervise nurses and ensure scope of practice compliance.
