Job summary

Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Yakima, Washington is seeking an LPN for the evening shift. This role starts at a top rate of $45.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential, with both day and evening shifts immediately available.

As an LPN, you will assist with medication administration, deliver nursing services, train and supervise staff, and support resident well-being in a home-like environment. You must hold a current LPN license in good standing, and new grads are encouraged to apply.

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations

• Possess a current LPN license in good standing
