Job summary

Regency Olympia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an LPN to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in our skilled nursing community in Olympia, WA. The role focuses on medication assistance/administration, nursing services, and supporting a home-like environment.

You will train staff, supervise care, and ensure documentation aligns with resident care plans while adhering to state regulations and infection control procedures. New grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current LPN license in good standing.

• Experience with medication administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with ADLs, medication administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations.

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations
