Job summary

Hcshiring in Washington state is seeking an LPN/RN to support resident well-being through medication assistance, nursing services, supervision, and adherence to state regulations. This role emphasizes patient-centered care in a home-like environment.

You will train staff, follow infection control procedures, maintain care plans, and document resident care activities while promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing.
• New grads are encouraged to apply; typical candidates have 1 year of providing supervision in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, medication administration and other care while encouraging independence.
• Train staff and report to the director of nursing.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.

As an LPN/RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You will:

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Train staff and report to the director of nursing
