Job summary

Regency Albany, a skilled nursing community in the Willamette Valley, is seeking caring LPNs to join our team. You will provide medication assistance, nursing services, and support to residents in a warm, home-like setting, while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with ADLs and medication administration as permitted by state regulations.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident plans and documentation.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies within LPN scope and state regulations.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate resident care.

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations

You Currently:

• Possess a current LPN license in good standing
