Job summary
Quest Software is seeking an experienced Software License Compliance Manager in the United States to capture and analyze deployed software licenses and ensure entitlements are met. You will partner with IT, Finance, Sales, and Procurement to collect data from multiple systems and interpret licensing data.
Success requires strong data management and analytical capabilities, aligned to Quest’s license policies, facilitating reports, metrics, and analyses for software usage and entitlements across
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software license compliance or similar roles.
- Experience with software license metrics, compliance tools, and licensing policies.
- Understanding of IT procurement, SAM processes, and licensing operations.
- Experience with enterprise software license agreements across perpetual, subscription, and cloud models.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships across functions and levels to drive collaboration.
- Operate in a virtual and global environment with shifting priorities.
- Apply analytical and communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Contribute to development and refinement of SOPs and policies.
- Demonstrate understanding of software deployment and entitlement rights for Quest-licensed products.
- Explain license allocation methodologies clearly and accurately.
- Produce reports, metrics, and analyses on software usage and entitlements.
