Job summary

Saint Anselm College Geisel Library is seeking multiple part-time Circulation Desk Supervisors to join the team. Shifts currently available on Friday and Monday evenings during fall 2026 and spring 2027, with occasional other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities include supervising desk operations, assisting users, and closing the library at night. Qualified candidates will have strong attendance, exceptional customer service, and the ability to supervise student workers.

Geisel Library at Saint Anselm College, a private liberal arts college in the Benedictine Catholic tradition, seeks multiple part-time Circulation Desk Supervisors to join their team. Currently shifts are available on Friday and Monday evenings as below during the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters with the occasional option of other shifts as needed:Friday 4:00 pm - 11:00 pmMonday 4:00 pm - 12:00 amInterested candidates should complete the online application and be certain to include a Resume, Cover letter, and 3 References.Job dutiesThe Circulation Supervisor is responsible for supervising all Circulation Desk operations during assigned hours. This person performs a variety of duties including: assisting library users (students, faculty, staff, guests) with a variety of Circulation Desk needs; supervising Circulation Desk student-assistants; monitoring building conditions and security; maintaining adherence to Circulation policies; working on special projects as assigned; and completing daily shift reports, and closing the library each evening and readying the building for use the next day.
