Job summary

Lewiston City Library is seeking a part-time Technical & Marketing Library Assistant to assist with collection work and help the administrative team create content for social media, websites and publications while ensuring ADA Title II compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a certificate/associate degree in graphic design, digital media or graphic communication, plus experience in customer service and teamwork. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and certificate/associate degree in graphic design, digital media or graphic communication.
• Experience with customer service, teamwork, graphic or web design, digital media, and technology skills.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process new library material for public use.
• Label and update item records in the library ILS.
• Create digital and print content for social media, onsite publications, websites and off-site print distribution with ADA Title II compliance.
