Job summary

The Lewiston City Library is seeking a Technical & Marketing Library Assistant to support collection work and create compliant social media, digital, and print content. You will process new library materials, update records, and collaborate with the administrative team to share materials and information with the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or an Associate’s degree in graphic design, digital media, or graphic communication.
• Experience in customer service and teamwork within a library or education setting.
• Knowledge of ADA Title II requirements and copyright basics is preferred.
• Ability to create digital and print content for social media and publications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and distribute new library material for processing.
• Label, process, and update item records in the library system.
• Create digital and print content for social media, publications, and websites.
• Ensure content complies with ADA Title II and library policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including night/weekend shifts.
